MOGADISHU (Somaliguardian) – Somalia’s President Mohamed Abdullahi Farmajo departed for a quick trip to Doha on Saturday where he will meet with Qatar’s emir Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani on Sunday to discuss bilateral relations and issues of common concern, his office said.

Somali President “departed today on a working visit to Doha, during which he will meet with his brother, the Emir of the sisterly State of Qatar,” Farmajo’s office tweeted in Arabic, adding that he will “discuss with His Highness the Emir Tamim bin Hamad tomorrow, Sunday, the bilateral relations between the two countries and ways to enhance them, in addition to a number of issues of common concern.”
