MOGADISHU (Somaliguardian) – Somalia’s government said on Monday hundreds of Somali nationals stranded in Ukraine since the Russian invasion earlier had been released after interference by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
“The Federal Government of Somalia is pleased to announce the release of three hundred and forty-eight displaced Somali nationals who have been stranded in Ukraine and along its borders including some due to lack of documentation,” the Somali Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement on Monday.
